Indian Summer Leaf Pile Jumping

After too much rain this fall we lucked into some nice warm autumn days. I had kid-duty the other day meaning I had to leave work early and meet Jack and Annabelle at their school bus drop off. They've been watching the leaves drop from the big tree in our front yard and estimating when there would be enough to rake into a big pile from some old-fashioned leaf jumping. So, on the appointed day, I raked up a big fluffy pile, met them at the bus, and got 'em started jumping on the mound. Here's the pictures:
