This scene was a nice surprise. I asked Jack to run down the walk. My plan was to shoot him running toward me when he got right near the bottom of the frame. When he got to the sweet zone he stopped running and started spinning while looking at his shadow. Silly boy...
I've been thinking about how to shoot someone on these stairs in downtown Lake Oswego for a while. I was hoping for more action on this pic, but you can only get so much out of an easily bored 6-year old (I did get him to go up the stairs twice). Of course, HCB shot B&W (and "from the hip" for that matter), but this one looked better in picture-postcardy color.
