Yep- the title of this post is a cliche.
Last Saturday morning Eric D. and I went to Elk Rock Garden at "Bishops' Close" near Lake Oswego to shoot some engagement photos for a young couple. The shoot was lot's of fun and it turns out Eric and I work really well together. I'd shot at the garden during my "flowers" phase of photography (incidentally, the flowers phase follows the pets and train tracks phase), but thought I'd better take a look around with portrait photos in mind before everyone arrived. I noticed bold shadows and a crazy old tree along the main grounds building face and snapped a few pics right before Eric called my cell to locate me on the grounds.
My toughest critic- my wife- likes this unexpected photo. So, there I was thinking "couples portraits", but saw this great building and got a shot I really like. BTW, I'd show you the couple's portraits, but they haven't seen them yet.

Is that a ghost in the top left hand window?????!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny! I was searching the windows for ghosts too. The whole time I was taking pictures I felt like someone was watching.
